If you have allergies or are sensitive to some nail or cosmetic ingredients, please email us at sales@revelnail.com to request for a full list of ingredients in which you can review with your doctor. You can also view our ingredients here: All Product Ingredients. We recommend when starting out to test our products for any sort of reaction before purchasing more items.
“Dip Flu” is a reaction (runny nose, stuffy nose, coughing, etc.) to the contents of Step 1 and Step 3 in a Dip System liquid set. From our experience and observations, far less than 1% of our customers have experienced a “Dip Flu” reaction, so there is a very strong chance you will not be affected at all. All Dip Systems currently on the market use the same chemistry for their steps, so all Base/Finish Gels across all brands will cause the same reactions, although chemical strength may vary from brand to brand which may cause a difference in the strength of the reaction. Reactions can vary from mild runny nose to more severe.
If you experience a mild reaction, some things we recommend are:
- Increasing ventilation. It is very important to apply Dip Powder in a well ventilated area. A small fan pointed away from you can help.
- Improved lighting. Crouching over to carefully inspect the nail while applying the liquids is not advised – it can cause an increased likelihood of experiencing a reaction because your face will be directly above the liquids.
- A mask. If you’re sensitive or doing lots of manis, a mask can help.
If you experience a strong reaction, we recommend that you stop dipping, contact your doctor and reach out to our Customer Service Team. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Your safety is the most important thing for us.
