Safe to Use During Pregnancy

Our product should be safe to use while pregnant! Plenty of our employees have been pregnant and have continued to get their nails done throughout their pregnancies.  I would, of course, check with your doctor and only do what you feel comfortable doing! Some people choose to use a face mask while applying the product and while that is not necessary, you might want to do so. While the FDA does not evaluate Dip Powders, we can tell you that traditional acrylics use EMA (Ethyl Methacrylate) and some salons even use MMA (Methyl Methacrylate – banned by FDA) as the main ingredients. Revel Nail Dip Powder does not use any methacrylates in our formulation. The liquids are based on Cyanoacrylate, which is similar to crazy glue or glue that is used in the hospital to seal a cut rather than getting stitches.
