The Methacrylate Allergy is a very common allergy. About 20-25% of the world population is allergic to methacrylate. The ingredient that causes this type of allergy is methacrylate, which is a monomer. Revel Nail Dip Powder contains Polyethyl Methacrylate, which is a polymer. When a monomer is converted into a polymer (powder form), the hazards of the monomer go away. We have many clients that have this allergy and who use our products without any issue. Revel Nail Dip Powder does not contain monomers, unlike acrylics and gel polish which both contain monomers.
Revel Nail liquids do contain other ingredients related to Methacrylate. For a full list of ingredients, please click the link below if you are concerned about allergies.
