Wondering what the difference is between the Tack Free Gel Topcoat versus Finish Gel?
There is no difference in the performance of Tack Free Gel Top Coat and Finish Gel, the difference is in the application. The Tack Free Gel Top Coat requires curing with a UV lamp. The Finish Gel requires no lamp or special equipment, just air dry.
For Finish Gel:
1. Apply Pro Base (Step #1)
2. Dip into Powder
3. Apply Pro Base (Step #1)
4. Dip into Powder
5. Apply Activator (Step #2) and wait 1 minute for that to dry if you are using the Professional liquids -or- wait 2 minutes for that to dry if you are using the EZ Care liquids.
6. Buff and file the nail
7. Apply Activator (Step #2) and wait 15 seconds for that to dry if you are using the Professional liquids -or- wait 1 minute for that to dry if you are using the EZ Care liquids then wipe each nail with a lint-free paper towel to be sure they are dry.
8. Apply 1-2 FAST STROKES of Finish Gel (Step #3) and wait 15 seconds for that to dry if you are using the Professional Liquids -or- wait 1 minute for that to dry if you are using the EZ Care Liquids.
9. Apply the second layer Step #3 Finish Gel in more detailed strokes, capping the front edge, and wait 1-2 minutes for that to dry if you are using the Professional liquids -or- wait 2-3 minutes for that to dry if you are using the EZ Care liquids.
For Tack Free Gel:
1. Apply Pro Base (Step #1)
2. Dip into Powder
3. Apply Pro Base (Step #1)
4. Dip into Powder
5. Apply Activator (Step #2) and wait 1 minute for that to dry if you are using the Professional liquids -or- wait 2 minutes for that to dry if you are using the EZ Care liquids.
6. File, buff and shape the nail. Make sure the buffing leaves the nails rough because the Tack Free Gel Topcoat bonds better to a rough surface. Use a cosmetic brush to dust off the powder or wash hands without soap and pat dry.
7. Apply a thin layer of the Tack Free Gel Top Coat. Leave Hands under a UV light for 2 minutes to cure.
8. Apply another thin layer of the Tack Free Gel Top Coat. Leave Hands under a UV light for 2 more minutes to cure.
