- When you apply Step #1 Pro Base you may not be dipping your nails in the powder twice. Your process when doing this should be: Apply the Pro Base – Dip in powder & remove excess powder– Apply Pro Base – Dip in powder & remove excess powder. (You should be applying twice and dipping twice per nail.) Be sure you are applying enough Pro Base. Two layers of Pro Base create a “shield” around your nail to prevent cracking. It should appear to be wet when you dip it. Longer nails (or people who are hard on their nails) may find 3 or even 4 dips are needed to provide the required strength.

- You may not have applied enough Step #2 Activator. You should apply the first layer of Step #2 Activator on the entire nail and cap the nail. Be sure to dip the brush back into the bottle for each individual nail. Make sure you apply to the sides of the nail, the cuticle area, and the tip of the nail. Wait 1 minute for that to dry if you are using the Professional liquids -or- wait 2 minutes for that to dry if you are using the EZ Care liquids. You will then file, buff, and shape the nail. Then apply a second layer of Step #2 Activator in the same manner as the first layer and wait 15 seconds for that to dry if you are using the Professional Liquids -or- wait 1 minute for the Activator to dry if you are using the EZ Care liquids. After the 15 seconds or 1 minute, gently rub each nail with a piece of paper towel to ensure that it is fully dry. Next, apply your first layer of Step #3 Finish Gel. This should be 1-2 quick strokes and not too close to the cuticle. Wipe your Finish Gel Brush on a paper towel before putting it back inside the Finish Gel bottle to minimize cross contamination. Wait 15 seconds for the Finish Gel to dry if you are using the Professional Liquids -or- wait 1 minute for the Finish Gel to dry if you are using the EZ Care liquids. Finally, apply your second coat of Step #3 Finish Gel ensuring that you cap the nail completely. The last coat should take 1-2 minutes to dry if you are using the Professional liquids or 2-3 minutes to dry if you are using the EZ Care liquids.
This should help ensure a stronger manicure that doesn't chip or crack!
