How to Apply Dip Powder

So you've ordered your first Revel Nail starter kit, what's next? Read below for our complete steps for applying dip powder with our regular dip liquids (Step 1 Pro Base, Step 2 Activator, and Step 3 Finish Gel)

1. Shake the powder to fluff up the powder (This is especially important for our glitter shades)

2. Apply Step #1 Pro Base on ONE nail evenly. (Pro tip, apply the first coat 3/4 the way up the nail and not all the way to your cuticle. This will help prevent lifting)

3. Dip into powder and tap off any excess on the jar (you can also use a small brush to get off the excess powder like our Perfect Powder Brush).

**Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each nail on one hand.

4. Apply Step #1 Pro Base on the first nail evenly a second time.

5. Dip into powder and tap off any excess on the jar again.

**Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each nail on one hand.

6. Apply a generous amount of Step #2 Activator (this is what makes the powder adhere to your nail and last longer), capping the front edge, ensuring to dip the Activator brush back in the bottle for each individual nail and wait 1 minute to dry if you are using the Professional Liquids -or- wait 2 minutes to dry if you are using the EZ Care liquids.

7. Buff, file and shape the nail. Brush away dust and particles.

8. Apply Step #2 Activator, capping the front edge, ensuring to dip the Activator brush back in the bottle for each individual nail, and wait 15 seconds for that to dry if you are using the Professional liquids -or- wait 1 minute for that to dry if you are using the EZ Care liquids then wipe each nail with a lint-free paper towel to be sure they are dry.

9. Apply Step #3 Finish Gel in 1-2 Fast Strokes (avoid cuticle) and wait 15 seconds for that to dry if you are using the Professional Liquids -or- wait 1 minute for that to dry if you are using the EZ Care Liquids.

10. Apply the second layer Step #3 Finish Gel in more detailed strokes, capping the front edge, and wait 1-2 minutes for that to dry if you are using the Professional liquids -or- wait 2-3 minutes for that to dry if you are using the EZ Care liquids.

Repeat on other hand.
